About Aerovax

Aerovax Spatial Logistics is a Manchester company that coordinates crane oversail agreements, third-party approvals and photographic schedules of condition before tower cranes are mobilised. It provides coordination and liaison services to developers, contractors and neighbouring property owners, and works with appointed solicitors, surveyors, drone operators and engineers where a project needs them.

What we do

When a tower crane goes up on a crowded site, its jib reaches far beyond the hoarding: over neighbouring homes and offices, and sometimes over a railway, a tramway, a road or a canal. Each of those has an owner or an authority who may need to be involved before it can swing.

Aerovax coordinates that work. We identify potentially affected property interests, coordinate discussions around oversail licences, help progress relevant third-party approvals and arrange photographic schedules of condition through appropriately qualified providers, so that everyone understands what is needed before the crane goes up.

Where we stand

Between the people who need the airspace and the people who hold the rights to it. We are not developers and we do not build.

Aerovax provides project coordination and liaison services to developers and property owners. Our role, responsibilities, fees and any conflicts of interest are agreed transparently for each engagement, and we tell everyone we deal with who we are working for. Property owners remain free to obtain independent legal and technical advice.

We aim to agree arrangements under which the developer funds reasonable survey and legal costs, subject to negotiation and the terms agreed for each project.

Specialist work is carried out by appointed providers: property solicitors, building surveyors, drone operators, structural engineers and crane specialists, each under their own qualifications, permissions and insurance. Each party’s solicitor finalises the licence documents.

What we do, and what we do not

Where we work

From Manchester, across all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester: Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Tameside, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton and Wigan. Our focus is Manchester city centre and Salford, from Ancoats and the Northern Quarter to Castlefield, Deansgate, Salford Central and MediaCityUK.

We can also support projects elsewhere in the UK, wherever a tower crane has neighbours.
